Dear Grade 6 Students and Families,
We're excited to welcome you to Dr. W.A. MacLeod Consolidated School for Grade 7 in the 2026/27 academic year! To help you become acquainted with our school and some of the friendly faces you'll see next year, we're hosting an incoming Grade 7 Coyote Kick Off: Find Your Howl! on Monday, June 1st, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Dr. W.A. MacLeod.
This is a drop-in event for both students and families, so please feel free to come anytime during that hour. You'll have the opportunity to take self-guided tours of the school, participate in some fun activities, and gather helpful information for next year’s transition. We look forward to seeing you there!

This program is created to help children prevent victimization, such as bullying, discrimination and lateral violence. We saw positive impacts from the program last year and are excited to continue with it this year.
Our current book is 'Say Something' by Peter Reynolds with a focus on leadership from the H.O.W.L. Matrix. This theme will guide classroom learning and discussions in the weeks ahead.
