BEHAVIOUR MATRIX
Dr WA MacLeod Consolidated has developed a new behaviour matrix with input from both staff and students. Throughout the year, students will explore the matrix, reflect on how their actions affect others, and be celebrated for their positive contributions to our school community.
W.I.T.S / L.E.A.D.S
This program is created to help children prevent victimization, such as bullying, discrimination and lateral violence. We saw positive impacts from the program last year and are excited to continue with it this year.
As we continue with the WITS / LEADS programs this year, the first book selections are 'The Brand New Kid' by Katie Couric and 'New Kid' by Jerry Craft. The initial focus will be on 'welcoming' and these texts and classroom activities will support students with this concept.
