Principal's Message

Dear DWAM Families,

Hello! First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome I've received since stepping into the role of principal at Dr. W. A. MacLeod. I'm genuinely excited about getting to know each of you better and working hand-in-hand with our remarkable staff and students.

The recent school dances were a hit, and it was fantastic seeing our students let loose and have some fun. Our coyote sports teams are also off to an enthusiastic start, and I'm eager to cheer them on as the season progresses.

As we dive deeper into the school year, I want to highlight our commitment to literacy, math, and, most importantly, the well-being of our students. These areas will be key focal points, ensuring our students not only excel academically but also feel supported, valued, and understood. Together, as a united DWAM community, we will prioritize these crucial aspects of education and personal development.

October was a month filled with learning, growth, and community bonding. Let's rally behind our shared goals, support one another, and continue to radiate our Coyote Pride.

Looking forward to a productive and enriching November. Go Coyotes Go!

Best wishes,

Matthew Clarke
