WITS / LEADS Program

The WITS program is a literature based program created to help children prevent victimization, such as bullying, discrimination and lateral violence. The LEADS program is also literature based, and challenges students to become leaders in their community. It also encourages understanding of different perspectives using five problem-solving strategies.

We continue to see positive impacts from the program and are excited to continue with it for the 2026-27 school year. Our first book will be introduced in September as we begin our new school year.

BEHAVIOUR MATRIX

Dr WA MacLeod Consolidated has developed a behaviour matrix with input from both staff and students. Throughout the year, students will explore the matrix, reflect on how their actions affect others, and be celebrated for their positive contributions to our school community.
