DWAM Holiday Concert Rescheduled

Due to school closures, the concert scheduled for tonight (Tuesday, December 18th) will be rescheduled to Wednesday, December 19th at 6:30 pm.

Spirit Week December 2018

Students and staff are asked to partake in our Spirit Week from December 17th to 21st.  Each day will have a special theme.


Monday, Dec. 17th        “Make a Pattern” Day

  • Wear something with a pattern. Think polka dots, stripes, checkered patterns, etc.

Tuesday, Dec. 18th        “Toque” Day

  • Wear your favorite hat!

Wednesday, Dec. 19th       “Wacky Wednesday”

  • Make your hair and/or clothes wacky! On this day wacky is wonderful.

Thursday, Dec. 20th    “Comfy Clothes Thursday”

  • Wear your most comfortable clothes – pajamas, sweatpants, fluffy socks, slippers. You pick it.

Friday, Dec. 21st          “Festive Friday”

  • Dress in Christmas colors (red and green), wear your favorite Christmas sweater, antler headband, etc. Be festive this Friday!

Revised Parent/Teacher conferences date and time

Due to the cancelation of school last Thursday, our Parent/Teacher conferences had to be postponed.   Meetings occurred at the scheduled time on Friday.   We are offering an additional P-8 Parent/Teacher Wednesday, December 5 from 4:00 – 6:00.  If appointments had been previously made through your child’s teacher, it will now be on a drop in basis. 

We apologize for this inconvenience but wanted to offer an additional time to meet with our teachers.


Report Cards/Parent-Teacher sessions

Report Cards will be going home today with student (Tuesday, November 27th).  Parent-teacher sessions will be held on Thursday, November 29th from 5-7 pm and Friday, November 30th from 12-2 pm. A reminder that there is no school for students at Dr. W. A. MacLeod on Friday.
