DWAM Junior Boys Soccer team Wins District Banner

On Wednesday, October 24th, our Junior Boys Soccer Team played New Glasgow Academy in the District Final. They were able to prevail 2 to 1 in overtime in a very exciting match. The field conditions were very wet, but our boys kept on pushing the ball toward the NGA goal to try to get the winning tally. Early in the first 5 minute overtime the MacLeod side was awarded a Direct Kick on the NGA goal. Brendan Avery took the kick for our team and was able to send a perfect kick into the top left hand corner. The boys and coach erupted into a parade of jubilation as they were successful in this hard fought battle.

The team members include: Cole Thompson, Omar Alsaidan, Caleb Janes, Braden Janes, Aiden Turnbull, Brennan Hood, Noah Cameron, Jacob MacLeod, Brendan Avery, Ethan MacLaren, Scott Mosher, Evan Ramsey, Robert McPherson, and Kayden Moulaison.
